At the root of EVERY problem we face is the presence of GOVERNMENT and their ability to impose the will of one group on another, with zero regards for their rights or their alternative choices. I DEFY YOU to find even ONE thing in our country where hostile division is present, that DOES NOT have the presence of government laws, edicts, tax manipulation, etc. present to give one side or the other the advantage or disadvantage. Now consider if CONSENT were required for something to change. Consider if VOLUNTARY ACTION was the ONLY WAY you could get someone to do something, pay something, etc. Before pretending that somehow we can pacify this problem, consider what is REALLY making all of our differences truly THREATENING to both or all sides of the issue.
What chuckles is saying boils down o "We'll stop murdering you if you give us your guns". I'm gonna pass on that offer, terrorist.
