One Sunday not too long ago, I complimented a young woman on her expensive, digital, Canon EOS 5D with an impressive zoom lens. "Thank you," she replied. "But I'm still struggling with back lit subjects and washouts."
Me, being a photo-phile from way back, attempted to offer advice with 'old school' insights like ASA, depth-of-field, flash fill, etc. The confused look on her face was almost pained. "I'm just interested in which auto-setting that would be."
