The first quote is fake. Jefferson never said that. The third quote is also fake Franklin never said it.
The quotes attributed to Adams and Hamilton are true. The problem with these quotes is the missing context. When people owned slaves the notion of a true democracy in which everyone could vote (women, men who didn't own land, etc.) was seen as a threat to the status quo. Both Adams and Hamilton were elitists that believed that only "some" people should be allowed to vote and participate in government.
Nothing against Adams and Hamilton. They both made incredible contributions to our country but in this particular case I don't believe they were right.
