In ’09, my son’s high school had a life sized Obama ‘cutout’ greet us at the door. The immediate hallway was lined with Obama portraits and quotes by the students. The computer room and some others had framed Obama quotes on the walls. The principal’s office had a near life sized elaborately framed portrait of Obama on the wall….
The only chance of a student learning anything politically true was from their parents.
