What's really great about the original "Little Mermaid" is that it's a story all about staying within your class levels. Don't even dare to be better than who your parents are.
In the original, the fish girl gets dumped by the Prince who marries some great landed lady from another town, so she goes all mopey and dies on the rocks of the harbor.
It is NOT that happy-crappy stuff that Disney peddles.
I find it a little more than "Strange" that the graffiti is in English rather than Danish. Also have noted over the past few years that quite a few of the signs people are carrying in foreign protests are also written in English. Is this just for my benefit or is there a more diabolical reason?

ReplyDeleteYup. It's all a play, and we're being played. Or at least they're trying to play us.
