If you look at the map, the low-slavery countries are those that were heavily influenced by Anglo-Saxon culture (yes, even Argentina, where a substantial portion are Germanic and/or Anglo).
All 330,000,000 Americans are enslaved by the taxation of income and other taxes. Just change the definition of slavery and the map completely changes.
