The God of the Bible was the basis of western civilization. The revolutionary idea that each person is a creation of God lead directly to the presumption of innocence and the entire legal system. The scientific revolution came from the biblical idea that there’s one God, who is universal and fair, and is above nature, as opposed to parts of Islam that still teach that the hydrogen and oxygen bonds if Allah wills it. And beautiful art, from David to Bach, was all created for the glory of God.
And now, as the west moves away from God, we are returning to the worship of pagan earth gods, human sacrifice, collective guilt, an ugly modern art.
