To be fair, geographically, Atlanta is not all that big compared to Chicago (136 versus 235 sq. miles). From a population standpoint, there are only 520,000 people in Atlanta (roughly) versus 2,750,000 in Chicago. The numbers are per 100,000 folks. That makes it quite easy for all the killings in Atlanta to exceed the per 100,000 number versus Chicago, with only 1/4 as many killings. Give credit where credit it due. The folks on the evening news could NEVER keep up if there were as many murders in the ATL as in Chicago. Let's just be happy we aren't #1 anymore....
The US is reliably in to top ten for murder per capita. Until you remove the top ten democrat run areas. The US falls to the bottom ten for murder per capita. We don't have a gun problem, we don't have a murder problem. We have a democrat murder problem
