Before my Dad died I had to have a painful conversation with him. He was an Air Force Veteran from the 1960's. I relayed some stories I have heard and things I have seen about basic-training today, and how its changed. He had that exact same look on his face when I showed him the video's. It was literally unthinkable in his day. That's how far we have moved in just a couple generations.
