The core of libertarian and anarcocapitalist philosophy. You can keep pretending that good people in government will mean good government, but there is NO GOOD GOVERNMENT ANYWHERE, nor is one possible. The minute you give in to the belief (widely held), that anyone, for any reason (including elections), has the right to rule over someone else, you have failed morally, and are promoting only future horrors. The root cause for EVERY PROBLEM is government power. It MUST BE REMOVED...Ideally peacefully, but it must go if we are ever to be free and safe again.
I met one of the neighbors that moved in a few years ago and we kinda hit it off, started hanging out once in a while. He had described himself as an anarchist, meaning he didn't care for much of any form of government, and I thought his stance a bit extreme. As time has passed, things have gotten worse, and I've talked some more... I see his point! I'm not really rooting for "Mad Max", and neither is he, but as stated, there really is no 'good' government, that's ever going to exist. It's not that the concept of government itself is flawed, it's that people are, and government is run by people, ergo will inevitably become flawed. Here's the one that will twist your knickers - they'll use that argument to implement AI government!
Through the pentagram to total submission or the soft weak fear of anarchy.
