My wife's parents and siblings were born in the Upper Penninsula while she was born in L.A. If the state wasn't so politically horrible, we would likely have moved up there.

ReplyDeleteLove the Sleeping Bear sand dunes and Glen lake just across the road. Used to spend my summers in that area in the 70's.
